Parallel

A variant of a base card with a different finish, color, or print run.

A parallel is a card that uses the same photo, layout, and number as a base card but is differentiated by a special finish, color border, foil treatment, or print run. Parallels are typically more limited and graded by their print run (e.g. Refractor, Gold /50, 1 of 1).
