Short Print (SP)

A card produced at a lower rate than the rest of the set's base cards.

A short print (SP) is a base card with a deliberately lower print run than its set-mates. Manufacturers create SPs to add chase appeal to base sets - common SPs include image variations, photo variations, and sometimes player legends slipped into a rookie checklist.
